Together with Chiemgau Tourismus e.V., green-solutions has implemented the “7 Handbike Tours in Chiemgau” project. We are therefore all the more delighted that the ADAC Bayern has honored the project with 3rd place in the annual tourism awards.
The routes were planned together with people with disabilities and tested for functionality. green-solutions planned the signage with signets and all routes are signposted throughout.
Seven cycle routes with a total of 134 kilometers have been developed and signposted. Handbikes are special bicycles that are propelled with the hands. Barrier-free toilets, bathing ramps, refreshment stops and overnight accommodation are provided along the tour.
With different levels of difficulty, there is something for everyone. Whether it’s a short 3.5-kilometer loop around Lake Obing or a 40-kilometer tour to burn off some energy. However, the tours are not just suitable for hand cyclists, but are of course also easy to manage with a bike trailer or rollator, for example!
