The Naturefriends tour portal is currently the largest outdoor portal in Austria. There are currently around 3200 hiking, mountain biking, skiing and Nordic walking tours available at www.tourenportal.at, all of which have been recorded by Naturefriends Alpine instructors. These tours are now also available as an application for iPhones. This mobile tour guide provides GPS map applications, display of the tour route, detailed route description with difficulty, length, duration and altitude, display of all Naturefriends huts and lodges with address, telephone, e-mail, contact person, etc. Detailed hiking maps from Kompass also help you to find the right route. The number of recorded tours is constantly being expanded! Additional feature: Outdoor routing (beta version) is available for Upper Austria. Here you can navigate freely over the terrain, independently of the recorded tours.
