green-solutions was commissioned to produce a new edition of the lake district map including hiking tips. The map was based on the existing green-solutions cycling map.
It was agreed to adapt the layout and division according to the new content (images, text, graphics). These were placed in the adapted master layout. The aim was also to integrate the Lakeland Pilgrimage Trail into the map. The routes were prepared graphically and the thematic content was added.
The Lakeland pilgrimage route runs largely along the European pilgrimage route VIA NOVA. The 6 pilgrimage stages are included on the map.

This is the motto of the Salzburg Lake District and applies perfectly to the newly designed map. The lake district pilgrimage route – around Wallersee, Mattsee, Grabensee and Obertrumer See – runs for 75 km along the European pilgrimage route VIA NOVA.
Nothing stands in the way of a contemplative hiking experience.
