Cross-country skiing is booming! This is not just something that has been said, but has also been confirmed by two recent representative surveys.
Cross-country skiers are already an important target group in tourism and will become even more important in the coming years.

However, there are deficits in communicating the offer to the target group. This is exacerbated by the ever-shorter cross-country skiing season. It will therefore become increasingly important in future to provide the target group with accurate and up-to-date information on the current trail situation on site. It will be crucial to transmit the information without delay and to prepare it in a standardized format.

Technically, the project is to be implemented using the Loipenmanager system. The system was completely revised over the summer and the third version will be launched for the coming season.
Your information about the cross-country ski trail from the trail device or from the tourist information office will be displayed in real time on your website and/or on XC-ski.de and/or on the information board at the cross-country car park. Use of the basic system is free of charge.
