The 12 municipalities from the districts of Traunstein and Berchtesgadener Land are celebrating the successful completion of a joint hiking project. The aim was to standardize the signposting of the hiking trails in accordance with the specifications of the German Alpine Association (DAV). This ambitious project was completed in an impressive record time of just 18 months.

From the route survey to the planning and production of the signage, the design and manufacture of information boards and support systems to the installation before the first snowfall in November – the entire project was completed efficiently and on time. In addition, digital versions of the hiking trails were created and are now available on the websites of the participating municipalities.

The clients involved are enthusiastic and praise the professional implementation as well as the positive feedback from hikers and locals. The project not only strengthens the orientation and attractiveness of the hiking trails, but also underlines the successful cooperation between the municipalities in the region.

Together, they have made an important contribution to the sustainable promotion of hiking tourism and regional recreation.
