Recognizing potential conflicts in advance – protected areas in tourinfa

Thousands of protected areas have been integrated into tourinfa in order to identify potential conflicts when creating tours. EU sources and open data from various federal states were integrated into tourinfra for this purpose. Once the routes have been transferred, the system compares them with the geometries of the protected areas to identify potential conflict areas along the route. This is displayed directly above the route map. The protected areas can also be displayed as transparent areas on the maps.
