CARTOGRAPHY
The first results are becoming visible – starting in the municipalities of Gilching, Weßling and Seefeld, the cycle route signage was installed by the Starnberg district office in cooperation with the Society for Economy and Tourism (gwt) and green-solutions. Implementations were presented to the mayors of the three towns and the Managing Director of GWT, Mr. Winkelkötter, as part of a cycle tour with District Administrator Stefan Frey.
Let us bring your vision to life.

Last autumn, the planning team was commissioned by gwt to ride the district’s approximately 558-kilometre cycle route network and record any defects on the routes and the 1,300 signposts. The data was recorded with tourinfra mobil and planned with the help of tourinfra. In consultation with the local authorities, necessary route changes were made and cycle route signs were adapted or replaced. The first new signs have already been installed in the 3 towns. The other municipalities in the Starnberg district will follow in the coming months. In the coming years, the cycle network will be continuously developed by the municipalities and the district administration. Technically, the infrastructure is maintained by tourinfra.
