New functions in tourinfra – Update November – December 2022

The fall was again used to implement new functions in tourinfra. In the background, the entire printing technology in the area of signs and tour PDFs was converted to a new system. Thanks to the changeover in the signage area, we are able to implement further guidance systems more quickly. The new technology has already been used to implement the two cross-country trail signs, the Rhineland-Palatinate hiking sign, the Stemweder Berge hiking sign, the Rhön Nature Park hiking sign, the Steigerwald Nature Park hiking guidance system and the Tyrolean hiking sign.

The technology in the area of tour PDFs is also new. This has enabled us to double the DPI of the tour PDFs, which leads to a much sharper print result. The high-resolution tour PDFs are only available via the green-solutions tour modules.

The most striking new feature in tourinfra is the Winter Manager. The Winter Manager module is an extension to tourinfra and offers functions specifically for our customers from the low mountain ranges and the Alps. The extension makes it possible to map the area of ski slopes and ski lifts. The winter manager goes one step further than existing solutions and, by integrating tours into the output, makes it possible to extend the information for guests to days without snow.
