Planning, tourinfra, winter manager, cartography & media production

Bodenmais is setting new standards in cross-country skiing in the Bavarian Forest. Following the complete revision of the cross-country trail signage and the installation of new overview boards last year, the quality of the cross-country skiing area has been significantly improved. The signs are based on a scheme developed by green-solutions and could serve as a standard for the entire region. A 45 km network of trails has been optimized and the total number of trails now covers an impressive 110 km for cross-country skiers. To help cross-country skiers find their way, 96 directional signs and 16 information signs have been planned.
This project phase was completed with the realization and installation of the new information boards in the design of Bodenmais Tourismus. In addition, work is being carried out on the provision of information for cross-country skiers at the Bretterschachten. From this season, the trail devices will be equipped with the Loipenamanger app, which enables skiers to transmit the current trail conditions in real time.
Let us bring your vision to life.

Latest data on the trail situation at Bretterschachten
This is a big step towards digitalization and user-friendliness in winter sports! With the integration of the Wintermanager app and the direct communication of track device data to portals such as xc-ski.de, cross-country skiers can always receive up-to-date information about the preparation of the trails.
This not only increases transparency, but also enables better planning for winter sports enthusiasts. Thanks to live communication, cross-country skiers can make spontaneous decisions and choose the trails with the best conditions.
For the perfect trail in use
The drivers spend hours in their machines to create optimum conditions for cross-country skiers on the Bretterschachten. The new winter manager now makes their work visible. This not only highlights the importance of cross-country skiing in the region, but also the immense effort that goes into providing guests and locals with a first-class cross-country skiing experience despite increasingly difficult conditions.
