In close cooperation with the Kus district of Pfaffenhofen a.d. Ilm and 19 municipalities, we implemented a complete package. In addition to the complete project planning, recording and signposting of the hiking and cycling tours, information boards and the cartography for a cycling and hiking map were created. A total of 35 hiking tours have been newly signposted. 19 hiking tours and 15 cycle tours have been newly designed and are currently signposted, and 13 cross-county and long-distance cycle routes have also been integrated. The existing local tours are included in the new signposting.
The district of Pfaffenhofen a.d.Ilm is easy to explore by bike and on foot. Well-signposted cycle and hiking trails in the river valleys as well as themed tours around asparagus and hops offer a choice for families with children as well as ambitious cyclists.
The basic cartography is based on license-free OSM data that has been visually processed and enhanced by green-solutions. In addition to hiking parking lots, guests will also find excursion destinations and places of interest in the region on the map.
The cycling and hiking map, which contains cycling tours as well as many leisure tips for the district, is available for you to download from the KUS Landkreis Pfaffenhofen website or you can have the cycling map and other information material sent to your home free of charge.
