Only three weeks until Christmas – and supposedly only three days until the first snow!
Work on our winter hiking project is therefore in full swing. We are currently developing a joint winter hiking offer for the tourism associations of Füssen, Lechtal and Reutte, as well as for the municipalities of Pfronten and Schwangau. We are being supported in this by our partner topplan.
In two supra-regional workshops, quality standards were jointly defined and the tour and signposting plans were drawn up.
The concrete route planning was then carried out with those responsible for the sub-areas in local workshops.
We are now out and about recording the tours. After that, we will coordinate with the authorities (forestry, hunting and nature conservation) and then the signposting planning for destination signposts, intermediate signposts and markings will take place. We are also planning overview boards for the winter hiking offers in the regions.
In order to give guests something to take with them on their way, we are preparing a map in winter design with the winter hiking tours. For those who prefer a digital version, the tours can also be downloaded from the regions’ online portals.
