Similar to the sister portal xc-ski.de for cross-country skiers, is xc-run.de will be the first port of call for all trail runners. Here you will find the most important news from the scene, current results, videos and pictures from the various trail running events. But xc-run.de offers even more: with the help of the event calendar, athletes can plan their season, in the training section they will soon find interesting tips on preparing for races and improving their fitness, and in the trail database they will find suitable running routes. These trails can be entered by the respective tourist destinations via tourinfra from green-solutions GmbH . And what about the right equipment for off-road running? The results of the first xc-run.de trail shoe test are already available in the section of the same name. 22 current models from leading manufacturers were tested and evaluated by trail runners. There are also further product presentations and a store section with a price comparison.

True to the motto “By athletes for athletes”, the editorial team of xc-run.de is made up of experts from the scene. Editor-in-chief Markus Mingo is a successful trail runner himself, won the Arberland Ultra Trail last year and knows what is important in training and competitions. He is also always “up to date” when it comes to scene news. Steffi Felgenhauer, head of organization for the Arberland Ultra Trail in Bodenmais, keeps an eye on the event dates and provides product tests. The editors are Marco and Mario Felgenhauer, who have made xc-ski.de a success story in cross-country skiing over the past few years. While Marco is also a photographer and video maker, Mario is responsible for advertising sales and the organization of programming. In addition, the team can rely on a large number of experts who will pass on their knowledge on xc-run.de.

With our trail running community, we also offer trail runners the opportunity to get involved themselves. You can ask questions in the forum or help other community members with their problems, post a picture of your last trail unit or join together as a training group and keep up to date within the group. Registered members can also comment on articles and suggest dates for the event calendar.
